Photographer Takashi Yasui captures the beauty of Japanese streets. “Photography is a more of a pleasure, it is a passion,” he writes on his website, although Yasui’s images convey more curiosity than emotion: his camera watches as people pass by, distant even when in their midst.
The freelancer, also known as “Tuck,” is variously based out of Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo; he is also the founder of RECO, a photography collective that uses everything from iPhones to video cameras to do their shoots.
